Florida Welding Students Earn Top Honors in America 250 Challenge

Welding students from Palm Beach State College, Lake Worth Beach, Fla., and Indian River State College, Fort Pierce, Fla., earned statewide recognition in the Florida Department of Education’s America 250 Welding & Fabrication Challenge, creating large-scale steel sculptures commemorating the nation’s 250^th anniversary while developing hands-on fabrication skills.
