Miami, FL, June 26, 2026: As thermal spray technologies play an increasingly important role in aerospace, energy, manufacturing, and other high-performance applications, the need for skilled engineers, researchers, and technical professionals continues to grow. The International Thermal Spray Association (ITSA) Scholarship Program helps support postgraduate students pursuing careers in thermal spray engineering and materials technology.

Since 1991, the ITSA Scholarship Program has helped foster the development of future professionals whose work advances thermal spray processes, materials, and applications. By supporting graduate-level education and research, the program helps strengthen the talent pipeline that drives innovation across the thermal spray industry.

Eligible postgraduate students studying thermal spray technologies or related materials disciplines at universities in the United States and Canada may receive a $2,000 scholarship to support their education. Applications for the 2026 scholarship cycle are due August 21, 2026.
