es, each course within the Welding Supervisor Seminar includes an online completion exam to evaluate your comprehension of the subject matter. Most exams consist of 50 multiple-choice questions and must be completed within 90 minutes. Participants must achieve a 75% passing score and may retake the exam once if needed. Upon passing, you will earn an AWS Certificate of Completion and Professional Development Hours (PDHs) based on the course length (1 hour = 1 PDH). Certificates can be downloaded and printed directly from the webpage. Note: The completion exam for this course is NOT the AWS Certified Welding Supervisor exam. To obtain Certification, you must take the AWS Certified Welding Supervisor exam at a PROMETRIC testing site.

Yes. Participants who score 75% or above on a course completion exam will receive PDHs. The number of PDHs earned depends on the course length:

• Safety in Welding – 3 Hours
• Fabrication Math I – 18 Hours
• Fabrication Math II – 15 Hours
• Understanding Welding Symbols – 10 Hours
• Economics of Welding – 18 Hours
• Science of Non-Destructive Testing – 6 Hours

Yes. PDHs earned through AWS online courses and virtual conferences can be applied towards recertification, provided they are earned during the certification period.
