International Standards Activities Committee (ISAC)

SCOPE: The International Standards Activities Committee serves as the US national committee for ISO TC/44 on Welding and Allied Processes. It administers ISO ballot responses and questions from ISO/TC 44 and manages oversight for AWS’s International Standards Program including: the International Organization for Standardization (ISO); the European Standards Committee (CEN); and the international standards program of the International Institute of Welding (IIW). ISAC acts in an advisory capacity to Standards Council in respect to technical matters of the Society.
