Welding and Fabricating Full-Scale Mock-Ups for Pressure Testing Primary Nuclear Piping

This paper details the sample fabrication for a multiyear experimental program with the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) to nondestructively quantify the stress and strain states of pressurized thick-walled piping samples with notches of known dimensions electron discharge machined (EDM) from the inner diameter (I.D.).
