The Welder Performance Qualifier Endorsement Seminar is a guided walk-through of best practices for performing a welder qualification test. It provides CWIs with the training needed to qualify a welder's ability to perform specific welding tasks and consistently produce high-quality welds that meet established specifications.

- This endorsement is for any current CWI or SCWI who wishes to receive a credential that documents their knowledge, skills, and abilities to conduct welder performance qualification tests.
- Existing CWIs and SCWIs looking to satisfy the reexamination requirements for 9-year recertification, provided that the endorsement is earned during the immediate 9-year period.

The objective of this seminar is to equip participants with the knowledge and skills need to confidently tackle the AWS Welder Performance Qualifier endorsement exam.

This 16-hour seminar offers an in-depth review of qualifier responsibilities, requirements for test facilities, equipment, and materials, as well as how to prepare Welder Performance Qualification Records (WPQRs) and other integral documents.
