2020 AWS International Section Annual Report

2020 AWS International Section Annual Report

Please use the online form below to complete the 2020 AWS International Section Annual Report.

Please be advised: The Section Annual Report is a bylaw requirement of the American Welding Society (AWS). The Section Annual Report covers the fiscal year - June 1 to May 31 - and must be received by AWS World Headquarters in order for AWS to issue an Anniversary Payment and Dues Rebate to your Section.

2020 AWS Section Annual Reports are due August 15, 2020.
Reports received by AWS World Headquarters after August 15, 2020 will invoke a penalty of 25% to be deducted from the Section Rebate of member dues. Reports received after September 15, 2020 will incur a 75% penalty.

Please note: The International Section Annual Report will take approximately 30 minutes to complete and must be completed in a single sitting. The system will not allow you to save your work and return at a later time to complete the form. We encourage you to use the 2020 AWS International Section Annual Report Guide to gather the information needed and then proceed to complete the 2020 AWS Section Annual Report for International Sections in a single sitting.

About this Report:

The International Section Annual Report Form allows you to report the details relating to the Section Officers your Section has elected and appointed for next year, Section-related financials, and other relevant information that will help us to ensure our records are up-to-date.

If you need clarity on which roles should be elected and which can be appointed, please review the detailed outline on roles and responsibilities of AWS Section Officers which can be found in the AWS document titled Suggested Duties & Responsibilities for Section Officers and Committee Chairmen located at: https://www.aws.org/library/doclib/Suggested-Duties-and-Responsibilities-for-Section-Officers-and-Committee-Chairs.pdf

Your Section will receive the following allowances for submitting your complete Annual Report (both Part I & Part II) on time:

  • Anniversary payment ($2 per Member, not to exceed $100)
  • Member rebate ($30 per Sustaining Company Member and $9 per Individual Member)

This Report must be received at AWS World Headquarters by 11:59PM Eastern on August 15, 2020

Please note that a 25% penalty will be applied to your rebate if your Annual Report is received after August 15, 2020.  A 75% penalty will be applied if your Annual Report is received after September 15, 2020.

Please complete the report as thoroughly as possible, but do not to miss the August 15 deadline. Should your Section be unable to complete the report prior to the August 15 deadline, please email Darrill A. Gaschler (dgaschler@aws.org) to discuss.
