Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I become a corporate member or renew my corporate membership?

Corporate memberships (Sustaining, Supporting, Affiliate, Welding Distributor, and Educational Institution) are managed online through their Primary Contact’s online profile. Before starting a corporate membership application, please verify who will serve as the Primary Contact for your company.

To join as a corporate member, go to AWS Login and click on “Become a Corporate Member.” When prompted, enter the email address for the Primary Contact. If the Primary Contact already has a profile with AWS, they will be prompted to log in. If they do not have a profile, they will be prompted to create one. Once the Primary Contact’s profile is updated or created, they will be presented with corporate membership options and have the opportunity to enter their list of corporate roster members and pay online. Corporate roster members can also be entered later.

To renew a corporate membership, the Primary Contact should go to AWS Login and log in using their email address. From the Membership tab they will see an option for “Manage Corporate Membership”. Memberships become eligible for renewal 4 months before their expiration date. If the company’s membership is eligible for renewal, renewal options will appear. From here, select your renewal option, and follow the screens to complete your renewal and payment.

The most efficient method to join AWS or renew your membership is by completing the online process outlined above. If you cannot complete the process online, and you are applying for a corporate membership, email membership@aws.org to have a PDF application emailed to you.

  • How can I update our Corporate roster?

The Primary Contact for the company should go to AWS Login or my.aws.org and log in using their email address. Along the left side select "Membership," and under the "Manage Corporate Membership" section, choose "Corporate Roster".

To add an individual with an existing profile click on “Add Existing Member”. To add an individual without an existing profile click on “Add New Member”. To remove a member click on the trash can icon on the line including their name. Once you have finished making changes, click on “Save Changes”. If you have added more members than your corporate member type allows, you will be prompted to pay for the additional memberships.

  • How can my company update its information, including its Primary Contact?

If you would like to change the Primary Contact for a corporate membership contact AWS at membership@aws.org.
