The 2022 Shipbuilding & Aluminum Conference is Coming to San Diego, CA, in May 2022
After almost two years, the Shipbuilding and Aluminum Conference is returning and heading to sunny San Diego, CA from May 3-5, 2022.
Aluminum is one of the most versatile and widely used metals in manufacturing. However, its unique chemical and physical properties can make it one of the most challenging to weld. During this three-day event, industry experts will also address the critical importance of welding in the shipbuilding industry by providing current information on emerging technologies developed for shipbuilding applications and advances in technology that are more cost-effective and less time-consuming. “There’s often an overlap in the shipbuilding and aluminum industries,” said Margaret Jamborsky, Director, Conferences.
“Therefore, if you want to be at the forefront of advances in these industries, this is a can't miss event.”
Registration is open, and conference schedules, exhibition, and sponsorship opportunities are available. Participants can register for either the Shipbuilding or Aluminum Sessions. Or they can attend both for the best value; AWS members get a price break as part of their membership.
