Q: We furnace braze tubular assemblies for a customer who recently told us they would not accept any of the parts we recently furnace brazed that do not have a nice fillet on top of the joint. They felt that the joints with a recessed fillet would be weak and not perform well in field service. Is this true? Should all brazed joints have a nice fillet at the edge?
