WEMCO Sub-committees

Bob RancEXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
Chair: Bob Ranc of Superior Products, Inc.
Ensures the strength and integrity of WEMCO by coordinating and reviewing the subcommittees' activities.  The Executive Committee also evaluates the governing structure of WEMCO, and recommends changes to the organization's charter and/or subcommittees.

Dennis BrownGOVERNANCE COMMITTEE
Chair:  Dennis Brown of Weiler Corporation
Implements WEMCO's bylaws necessary to ensuring the organization's foundation, as well as periodically evaluate the governing structure of WEMCO-association, roles, duties, responsibilities, terms and membership eligibility.

Jim HorvathNOMINATING COMMITTEE
Chair:  Jim Horvath of Thermadyne Industries

Nigel ScotchmerPROGRAM COMMITTEE
Chair: Nigel Scotchmer of Huys Industries, Ltd.

Determines the meeting locations, speakers, and the program format for the WEMCO Annual Meetings. Throughout the year, the committee works together to ensure that the WEMCO Annual Meetings are relevant to WEMCO company members, and the welding industry.

Dick WilkinsonMEMBERSHIP
Chair: Dick Wilkinson of OKI Bering, Inc.
Focuses on WEMCO's membership growth, as well as continually examine the benefits of being a WEMCO company member to ensure maximum value proposition. The Membership Recruitment Committee–in conjunction with the Membership Retention Committee–will focus on WEMCO marketing and promotions.

Serves as a catalyst and driving force within the industry to raise the overall profile of welding as a career and communicate to potential candidates the numerous opportunities that exist within the welding industry.

Ensures synchronicity and harmonization between GAWDA, WEMCO, and other organizations/committees in the welding industry.

Iain HodgekinsINFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
Chair: Iain Hodgekins of Superior Products, Inc.
Evaluates various electronic issues that relate to business and commerce within the welding industry.  This will include, but not limited to, web site issues, VMI, EDI, and others.
