WEMCO’s Subcommittees
WEMCO offers its members ample opportunities to become more involved by joining one of its subcommittees. Subcommittee members work independently on various issues; yet, collectively strive towards one common goal—to strengthen and build the image of welding to ensure its preservation for the future generation of America.
The subcommittees are divided into seven active sectors that address various issues within the organization, as well as the weldingmanufacturing industry in general:
Executive Committee
Chair: Jim Horvath of Thermadyne Industries
Ensures the strength and integrity of WEMCO by coordinating and
reviewing the subcommittees’ activities. The Executive Committee also
evaluates the governing structure of WEMCO, and recommends changes to
the organization’s charter and/or subcommittees.
Governance Committee
Chair: Dennis Brown of Weiler Corporation

Program Committee
Chair: Hector Villarreal of Weldcoa

the WEMCO Annual Meetings. Throughout the year, the committee works
together to ensure that the WEMCO Annual Meetings are relevant to WEMCO

Membership Recruitment
