Local Sections are the very heart and foundation of AWS and are, therefore, very important to the wellbeing and future of the Society. The Society's success is contingent upon the efforts put forth by Section volunteers and members.
Section meetings and activities provide convenient access to fresh ideas, years of experience, and plenty of great information. Members have the opportunity to make important contacts, gain knowledge and get answers from other Section members. Professional development hours may be earned by attending technical meetings and other planned activities may include plant tours, social events, student programs, educational seminars and more!
