This award was established for the purpose ofrecognizing AWS Student Members whose Student Chapter activities haveproduced outstanding school, community and/or industry achievements.
This award provides an excellent opportunity for Student ChapterAdvisors, Section Officers and District Directors to recognizeoutstanding students affiliated with AWS Student Chapters, as well asto enhance the image of welding within your communities.
StudentChapter Member Award Nomination forms may be submitted directly toNational any time during the year. A special certificate willthen be sent directly to the requestor for presentation to therecipient. Recipients will also be recognized in the Welding Journal.

AWS Member number
List the name of the Student Chaptersponsoring the nominee. Also list the Section and District inwhich the Student Chapter is affiliated.
If applicable, Student Chapter Officerposition(s) and year(s) held.
Academic Achievements: Listacademic achievements.
Student Chapter Achievements: Showexamples of unique accomplishments through Student Chapter functions.
Participation in Community Projects:List any community activities either individual or group conducted.
Other Outstanding Accomplishments:Provide a summary of the school and Student Chapter Activities whichthe nominee has been involved on a local, District or National AWSlevel.
Include any supporting documents, and acurrent photograph of the nominee, if possible. This photographwill be published in the Welding Journal.
