Nancy C. Cole
2013 President, AWS
An AWS Fellow and Life Member, Nancy Cole served three terms as a vice president before being elected 2013 president of AWS. Before forming her own company, NCC Engineering, she was program manager and contract manager at Oak Ridge National Laboratories, where she was awarded three patents. At ABB Combustion Engineering, she developed welding electrodes, fluxes, and flux-cored wires. She served as chair of the AWS Technical Activities Committee, Fellows Committee, and C3 Brazing and Soldering Committee. She has received the AWS Honorary Member Award, the Dr. Rene Wasserman Award, and the McKay-Helm Award.

Dean R. Wilson
Vice President, AWS
Dean Wilson was elected to a third term as a vice president. Wilson is president of Well-Dean Enterprises, a company related to health, safety, and welding products and industry consulting. Earlier, he was director of welding business development at Jackson Safety Products, and served as president/owner of Wilson Industries from 1987 to 2007. He has worked on numerous AWS standing committees, including WEMCO (An Association of Welding Manufacturers) where he served as chair in 2005.

David J. Landon
Vice President, AWS
He was elected to serve a second term as a vice president. Since 1992, he has worked as manager of welding engineering and missions support at Vermeer Mfg. Co. and is an AWS Senior Certified Welding Inspector. Previously, he operated Landon's Welding Services performing failure analyses, inspections, and welder training. Earlier, he worked as a welding engineer for Chicago Bridge and Iron Co. He has served on many AWS technical committees and as a Delegate to the IIW Commission XIV, Welding Education and Training.

David L. McQuaid
Vice President, AWS
He was elected to his first term as a vice president. Currently, he heads D. L. McQuaid and Associates, Inc., which he founded in 1999. He has chaired the AWS D1 Structural Welding and the Technical Activities Committees. At American Bridge Div. of U.S. Steel Corp., he served as senior welding engineer and corporate engineer. In 2009, he received the American National Standards Institute Finegan Standards Medal for his outstanding contributions to industrial standards.

Robert G. Pali
Treasurer, AWS
Robert G. Pali was reelected treasurer. He is vice president, secretary, and COO of J. P. Nissen Co. Pali is currently vice chair of the AWS Finance Committee and a member of the AWS Publications, Expositions, and Marketing Committees. He has served on the WEMCO (An Association of Welding Manufacturers) executive board, National Nominating Committee, and numerous subcommittees and presidential task forces. From 1965 to 1978, he worked for Bethlehem Steel Corp. in analytical chemistry and plant operations research. In 2006, he received the AWS National Meritorious Award.
