Awarded to a graduate student pursuing an advanced degree in engineering management within the welding and cutting industry. Applicant must have completed a Bachelor of Science degree or be in the final year, and have been accepted for graduate work in engineering management at an accredited graduate school. Applicant must have graduated with a minimum overall grade point average of 2.8. Financial need is not required; however, priority will be given to those demonstrating a financial need. The applicant must complete a personal statement with text addressing proposed advanced academic and post-academic plans. The applicant may be a citizen of any country and plan to attend an academic institution located in any country.
The award is $2,500, and is granted on an annual basis. The application deadline is February 15, for the following fall term. Funding is made available June 1 - May 31. Contact Vicki Pinsky at firstname.lastname@example.org for an application.
