AWS Releases Sheet Metal Welding Code
MIAMI -- November 11, 2000 -- The American Welding Society (AWS) has completed the revised and updated edition of Sheet Metal Welding Code (AWS D9.1M/D9.1:2000). This ANSI-approved standard covers the arc and braze welding requirements for sheet metal. Sheet Metal Welding Code includes procedures and performance requirements, as well as welding workmanship and valuable inspection standards. Developed under the guidance of the AWS D9 Committee on the Welding, Brazing, and Soldering of Sheet Metal, the code was created and has been updated to meet the specialized needs of sheet metal and construction industries.
Available for $60.00, $45.00 for AWS members, Sheet Metal Welding Code is 46-pages long and includes 11 annexes, ten tables and 27 detailed figures.
