MiamiMarch 7, 2005: The American Welding Society (AWS) will offer The Weld Heat-Affected Zone (HAZ) Conference on Monday, April 25, 2005, at the 2005 AWS Welding Show.
An all-day conference, the event covers 8 topics that include Review of Welding Effects on The HAZ Microstructure, The Situation Regarding The Heat-Affected Zones In P91 Steel, HAZ Failure of A Welded Seam in A517 Grade G Material And The Follow-Up Materials Evaluation, New Code Rules On Temper Bead Welding, Precautions To Be Taken With Heat-Affected Zones In Stainless-Steel Welds, Characteristics Of The Heat-Affected Zone In Aluminum Welds, Weld Heat Affected Zone Simulations In High-Strength Steels, and Weld Inspection Using The Latest In Advanced NDT Methods.
