FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

MIAMI - February 7, 2006 - Your publication is invited to enter the 23rd Silver Quill Editorial Achievement Award competition, sponsored by the American Welding Society.

The winner of this prestigious competition will join the ranks of other influential past winners, including Stainless Steel World, Robotics Today, American Machinist, and Advanced Materials & Processes.

The competition is open to all non-welding-specific publications.

To participate, please submit up to three articles published during calendar year 2005 that exemplify your publication's journalistic skill and creativity in advancing the science, technology, and application of materials joining. Entries will be evaluated on originality of editorial treatment and their significance to readers at the time of publication.

There is no entry fee to participate in the Silver Quill award competition. Send your entries via postal mail or an alternative delivery service, or submit them electronically in a pdf file. They must reach us no later than March 31, 2006.
